Board members Janet Brown and Elisabeth Fowler oversaw successful drives to raise funds to replace our aging vans with the vehicles pictured below. The van pictured at top transports staff to community health fairs and patient homes for checkups. The pictures below show the 2nd mobile health van, retrofitted as an ambulance to transport patients to our clinics or government hospitals. Both vans provide privacy for one-on-one HIV counseling and testing at our community health fairs and on visits to sites catering to high-risk groups.
These new vans ensure safe, reliable transportation and comfort for our patients and staff. They are crucial to the success of our 90-90-90 Campaign to test and treat people with HIV and to ensure their level of infectiousness drops to near nil.
We are grateful to these board members and their friends and families who made possible the purchase of these mobile health vans.
